Appraisal, Authentication & Consulting Services

DJR Authentication provides professional appraisal, authentication, collection review, valuation, and consulting services based upon expert analysis, market research, and the information available at the time of review.

Fees are based on the scope, complexity, and time required to complete an assignment. Delivery timelines may vary depending on the nature of the request.

Online evaluations are based solely on the photographs, documentation, and written information submitted by the client unless an in-person examination is performed. DJR Authentication is not responsible for incomplete, inaccurate, or unclear information provided by the client.

All opinions, reports, and recommendations represent professional judgment based on the information available at the time of review. Opinions are not guarantees of future market performance, resale value, third-party acceptance, attribution, or outcomes beyond those expressly stated in the written report.

DJR Authentication retains all intellectual property rights in its reports, opinions, methodologies, and deliverables. Clients receive a non-transferable license to use those materials solely for their intended purpose.

Services may require full payment or a deposit before work begins. Additional fees may apply depending on the scope of the assignment and must be approved and paid prior to delivery of any written report.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DJR Authentication's liability arising from any service, report, consultation, or deliverable shall be limited to the amount paid for that service.

Expert Guides, Digital Content & Educational Materials

DJR Expert Guides and all digital publications are provided for educational and informational purposes only. They are intended to provide professional methodology, risk awareness, and decision-support guidance.

Digital guides do not constitute a formal appraisal, authentication, valuation, or professional opinion. The purchase of any guide or digital publication does not create a client relationship with DJR Authentication or David J. Rose II.

For official documentation relating to authenticity, value, insurance, estate planning, resale, charitable donations, or legal matters, a formal DJR service must be purchased separately.

All guide content, authentication frameworks, valuation methodologies, written materials, and digital publications are the intellectual property of DJR Authentication and may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, shared, or resold without written permission.

All digital downloads and digital products are non-refundable.

DJR Authentication is not responsible for financial decisions, purchases, sales, or other outcomes resulting from the use of educational materials.

Payments, Appointments & Deliverables

Services may require full payment or a deposit before work begins.

In-person appointments require advance payment or deposit to reserve time. Appointments must be canceled or rescheduled at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance. Late cancellations, missed appointments, or no-shows may result in forfeiture of deposits or fees.

Reports, opinions, and deliverables are provided digitally or physically upon completion. Clients are responsible for downloading, retaining, and securely storing all delivered materials.

DJR Authentication may not retain copies of reports, photographs, or supporting documentation indefinitely. Requests for replacement copies, updates, or reissuance may require a new service order or administrative fee.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, reports and opinions are prepared solely for the use of the commissioning client. Third-party reliance, redistribution, publication, or use in litigation, financial underwriting, or other external matters is not authorized without prior written consent from DJR Authentication.

Privacy & Confidentiality

Client information, photographs, and supporting documentation are treated as confidential and used solely for the services requested.

From time to time, item photographs may be referenced for educational or marketing purposes without identifying personal information unless confidentiality has been specifically requested and agreed to in writing.

Submitted materials and communications may be transmitted through or temporarily stored within secure third-party providers as part of normal business operations. These providers may include website platforms, payment processors, email systems, cloud storage providers, image-processing tools, research databases, and other operational technologies.

DJR Authentication does not control the independent security, retention, backup, or deletion policies of third-party providers and cannot guarantee removal from external systems or archived backups.

Research Methods & Technology

DJR Authentication may utilize industry databases, analytical software, image-analysis tools, artificial intelligence systems, market resources, and other technology-assisted research methods as part of the evaluation process.

All opinions and conclusions remain the professional judgment of DJR Authentication based on the information available at the time of review.

The use of technology-assisted research does not guarantee accuracy, authenticity, attribution, or future market outcomes.

Limitation of Liability

DJR Authentication does not guarantee future market performance, resale value, third-party acceptance, insurability, or the financial outcome of any transaction.

Clients acknowledge that appraisal, authentication, and valuation involve professional judgment and are based on information available at the time services are rendered.

DJR Authentication shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failure to perform resulting from events beyond reasonable control, including internet outages, software failures, third-party service interruptions, natural disasters, labor disputes, governmental actions, or other unforeseen circumstances.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DJR Authentication's total liability arising from any service, report, consultation, digital product, or website use shall be limited to the amount paid for the applicable service or product.

USPAP Notice

All evaluations are performed by a qualified appraiser trained in the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP).

Online evaluations are limited in scope and rely entirely on client-submitted materials. In-person examination may be necessary to achieve the highest degree of accuracy and completeness.

USPAP compliance applies only to services expressly identified as USPAP appraisal assignments and does not extend to preliminary opinions, authentication opinions, educational content, blog articles, or digital guides.

Governing Law
