Introduction

This website is operated by DJR Authentication. Throughout the site, the terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to DJR Authentication. By accessing this website, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions, including those additional terms and policies referenced herein.

Service Conditions

General Conditions
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time. You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell, or exploit any portion of the Service without express written permission from us.

Appraisal and Authentication Process
We provide thorough appraisal and authentication services. Fees are based on size, complexity, and time required. Timelines may vary. Our experts evaluate items with the utmost care and professionalism, considering factors such as provenance, condition, rarity, and historical significance.

Item Submission Guidelines
Items must be submitted according to our guidelines, which include format and condition requirements. Documentation such as provenance history may be required.

Ownership and Rights
Appraisal reports, authentication certificates, and consulting deliverables remain the intellectual property of DJR Authentication. Clients receive a non-transferable license to use these documents for their intended purpose.

Confidentiality
We respect your privacy. Client information, item photos, and related documentation are kept confidential and used only for the services requested. We do not sell or share client information outside of DJR Authentication unless required by law. Item photos may be featured in marketing materials or social media, but never with the client’s name or personal identifying information.

Retention Policy
All appraisals, authentication reports, and consulting deliverables are provided with a physical copy issued in person or digitally upon completion (which can be downloaded to your desktop). We do not store or reissue copies after 7 days. If an updated or replacement report is needed, a new service request or appointment is required.

Transactions and Payments

Billing and Payment
All service fees must be paid in full prior to work beginning. Prices are clearly listed on the website and subject to change. Clients must provide accurate billing and contact information.

In-Person Appointments
In-person appointments (in-office or in-home) require a minimum deposit to reserve. Depending on the scope and complexity of the request, additional fees may apply and must be paid before the final report is delivered.

Payment Processing
We use PayPal for secure payment processing. Your payment details are handled with the utmost security and are never stored or shared by DJR Authentication.

Modifications and Service Changes

Modifications to Service and Prices
Prices for our services are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.

Errors and Omissions
We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice.

User Engagement

User Comments and Feedback
If you send us comments, feedback, or other submissions, you agree that we may use them without restriction. We may monitor, edit, or remove content that we determine is objectionable.

Testimonials and Reviews
User testimonials and reviews may be featured on our website or marketing materials. We may moderate or verify these for authenticity and relevance.

Additional Service Terms

Personal Information
Your submission of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy.

Shipping and Handling
At this time, we do not offer appraisal or authentication through the mail. However, DJR Authentication may occasionally accept shipped items for evaluation or purchase at our discretion. Users are responsible for secure packaging, insurance, and tracking when shipping.

Reschedules & Cancellations
In-person appointments require at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel without penalty. Cancellations within 24 hours may result in forfeited deposits.

Legal and Compliance

Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, users should first contact DJR Authentication directly. If unresolved, mediation or arbitration may be recommended before pursuing legal action.

Liability and Disclaimer
Our liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. DJR Authentication does not guarantee resale value, authenticity, or insurance acceptance of any item beyond what is clearly stated in the appraisal, authentication, or consulting report. We provide professional opinions based on experience, market research, and visible evidence.

Professional Standards and Recommendations

USPAP Standards
All evaluations are conducted by a qualified appraiser trained in USPAP (Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice) guidelines. Online appraisals, while not including a physical inspection or signed certification, are performed with the same level of ethical and methodological care. In-person examinations are always recommended for maximum accuracy and compliance.
